Support dogs are trained to promote independent living, mobility and companionship for disabled people. If you think a dog could help you with your disability you are eligible to apply for one.
In New Zealand a disability assist dog is permitted by law to enter and stay in places where other dogs wouldn’t be allowed.
Dogs trained by authorised organisations are funded by the generosity of individuals, businesses, and corporations.
